Resurrect Your Highest Choices Now! Crossfit/Yoga

He Is RISEN!
"There is a peace I have come to know, there is an anchor for my soul...it is well. Victory has won, He has risen from the dead.  I will rise, when He calls my name, no more sorrow, no more pain...I will rise on eagles wings!" (Chris Tomlin-"I Will Rise")

Are you fully aware of God's love for you? Are you aware of your opportunity to reawaken your Spirit? This Easter is a perfect time to reflect, rejoice, and regain your divine purpose and happiness! Through the power of the Holy Spirit you CAN awaken, liberate, and animate a NEW life. What is required on your part to create your heart's desires is: you must first "show up" and be present in your life, you must lean into and trust God, you must put yourself out there and take action, and finally you must learn how to surrender and depend on God through prayer.

If you choose to rise, you must let go of your past. Be present in your life. Let go of your past and do not worry about tomorrow. For, tomorrow has not yet come and you may miss out on your Blessings for today. Live for today. One moment at a time, you CAN receive His blessings. You can choose you happiness!

There may be times when you feel as though you cannot trust others or/and even yourself...you CAN trust God always. "With God all things are possible."(Matt 19:26) Faith IS to believe in the unseen.

A thought is just a thought, and a thought CAN be changed. When you become conscious of your thoughts, choices, and words you CAN take action and sow seeds of love and hope everywhere. When you take action in creating your alignment mind, body, and spirit you will RISE!

Through your own sufferings and/or the suffering of others, you CAN learn to surrender and offer up all concerns to God through prayer. God is available 24/7. God loves everyone and desires for us to call on Him. Prayer CAN be as simple as talking to a friend. God IS your friend!

Will you RISE? Do you desire to create a new life for YOURSELF? Now is the time. Below, are a couple  examples of HOW you CAN take action towards creating a new body, mind, and spirit.

Yoga Low Lunge (anajaneyasana)
This pose is great for athletes and lower body soreness. It will release tension in your hips, stretch your hamstrings, quadriceps, and groin, strengthen your knees, and help build your mental focus. (CNY Healing Arts)

 Snatch
A Crossfit move that forces you to move weight quickly, and  a long distance from floor to over your head. This movement trains power, develops balance, flexibility, coordination, speed, and strength. (Crossfit Rockwall)

LOVE: What are your favorite Physical Activities?

Do You Love???
What is love? According to Wikipedia, The English word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from pleasure ("I loved that meal") to interpersonal attraction ("I love my partner"). And yes, many of us including myself in the past, have always connected love to an emotion, feeling, and thought.

Now, I have my clarity with the TRUE meaning of LOVE! Love within itself, is an ACT of the WILL. In relation to all people: strangers, friends, co-workers, supervisors, partners, family, and spouses...we are called to LOVE everyone! How many times have your found yourself in a situation when you become bitter, angered, or frustrated with someone else, or even in the midst of an "act" you do not desire to do??? Then, through those very thought forms, emotions, and feelings you project your toxicity towards others and your actions. That is not Love. We are called to love others in their brokenness, and to seek holiness in our daily work, family life, and all social relations. Within such holiness, you can choose (will) to act with Love no matter what the circumstance and/or emotion attached.

God IS LOVE. Without Love you have nothing. You can create your happiness through the choice to ACT with LOVE. Mary loved God. In doing so, she willingly chose to bring forth Christ into our world. Joseph loved God and Mary. In doing so, he humbled himself and stayed by Mary's side...

Do you Love yourself: Spirit, Mind, and Body? You may not enjoy or desire physical activity or eating healthy...And, that is why we our all called to love ourself first! We must show up for ourself, in order to show up for others. Love yourself. Love others. Our bodies require just as much Love as our Spirit and Mind. Some of my very own pleasurable physical activities I was blessed to do this past weekend on my Retreat, outside in God's gift of nature.

I went on a run...

I stopped at an intersection on a tiny farm road for some Yoga...

I added in my recent Full Body Workout Challenge (plyometrics + calisthenics) and then, ran back to my Retreat at Featherock.

Do you Love yourself? Will you choose to take action towards loving yourself? Start NOW! It is never too early or too late to LOVE yourself and to LOVE others! God is Love. And, God LOVES you!

~Peace be with you Spirit, Good Health, and LOVE

CHALLENGE

Today, I am choosing to take action towards my heart's desires and share some insight with you from Jon Acuff... How many times do you find yourself daydreaming about what you would like to do..."if only?" Jon states it very simply, " less TV and do more!" Now I know in my own past experiences it has been easier to say, than do. And I also know, that it is never to late or early to start over and recommit.

During this season of Lent, it especially can be a fruitful time through reflection. A life without reflection, is a life wilting away. Through our faith and prayer we can accomplish our dreams and heart's desires! Whatever your dreams and goals may be for today, this week, month, or even for this year...all things are possible! It is when there is a lack of faith that causes us to rely on our own power rather than the power of the Holy Spirit. Together with the Holy Spirit we create our future outcomes.

So what are your present dreams? What are your heart's desires? I desire to challenge you along my journey in creating balance: Spirit, Mind, and Body. Now is the time to commit to prayer, reflection, physical activity, and healthy choices! Below you will find an exercise routine that I will be committing to do one time a day, 3-5 days a week, for three weeks. Print it! Post it! Accomplish it!

Note: Listen to your body, do what you can (reps), and there are always modifications!!!
