"Love for FREE"

"God Loves You Just the Way You Are"

We as humans spend many hours focused on our bodies. Whether we have a concern for our health, or maybe the desire to loose weight; we always have a quick answer when someone asks how we are feeling/doing. But, when someone ask how our spirit is doing we cannot seem to come up with an answer quick enough. Through this season of Lent, it is this time for us to surrender our spirit's to God for Jesus to speak to us and to grow closer in relationship with him.

We are all God's work of art. He outpours his love to us for free and unconditionally.Through our faith, God gives us a free gift of his grace and salvation. Within the Old Testament you can find examples of God taking the initiative, going forth and sharing his love. Within the New Testament Jesus loved with the love of his father. Jesus loved the unjust and just.

Inform, Inspire, Ignite

"Remember, Man is dust, and unto dust you shall return."

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Season of Lent. It is a season of penance, reflection, and fasting which prepares us for Christ's Resurrection on Easter Sunday, through which we attain redemption. Ashes are a symbol of penance made sacramental by the blessing of the Church, and they help us develop a spirit of humility and sacrifice.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Jesus' journey in the desert. He knew what was to come; the cross for the salvation for others. His heart desired to save us all, however, Jesus is "God-man" and in human form suffered just as we all do. Along His journey is when he relied on God more than ever. It was His time in prayer and meditation, restoration, and submission to God's will.

"The Wave of Change"

"If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind" (James 1:5-6).

I love this verse! Through many trials in my life I have stumbled upon this verse and found so much meaning. I am a very visual person with frequent use of imagery, and a fire to gain a deeper understanding of all things. So, through my vision and individual understanding of this verse, I have gained and continue to gain a wisdom I would love to share with you.

"Praise You In the Storm"

Between the storm Surf Side Marathon runners faced head on, and my Fibromyalgia pain...praise was still to be found for our God. For the Lord is always present, he will never leave our side. Whether we choose to face things head on, or take a slow learning process...we can cry out to God.
Blessings to all ~

"Time for TABATA" An intense & short workout.

TABATAS WORKOUT
Surely you do not want to neglect your aerobic 'cardio' fitness. With a Tabata workout you can perform both aerobic and anaerobic. As a cardio strength training, it is proven to improve your aerobic fitness as well! However, to reap the benefits of this interval protocol, it must be an all-out effort during the entire period. It is the concept of maximum intensity and not pacing.
Please Note: Progressions and modifications can be made to help achieve ultimate results.

"We are Held"

Tribute to Sisa, Jaime, Noe and the whole Armendariz Family

Loosing someone, something, or even everything
 And starting over new.
So sudden and least expected;
 Who would of knew.
There are times when we feel so alone;
 when we think no one will understand.
This is the Lords time;
 He reaches out His hand.
Who would think we would be rescued;
 It is for REAL, not a miscued.
For His promise is: when we fall;
The Lord will be there to rescue us all!

Surrender to our Lord. Imagine & Believe!
To be held in His arms/hands...

we can trust Him no matter what the circumstances
Jesus is our deliverer, defender, and redeemer

Whitney Houston Tribute

What an amazing and angelic voice she was. Sure she had her demons as we all do but, let us remember the beauty that stands tall! This song in particular had a huge impact on my life. And, how ironic the words of "I will always love you." Those are the same words of our God. God is merciful, compassionate, forgiving, and full of unconditional love. He heals and delivers. God longs to be connected to us all!
May Whitney and us all be connected with God always. ~Amen

"Cherish Your Time!"

When you least expect it,
People and pain come and go.
From what was held as a memory,
Is now a thought embraced and forced to know.
A parent's security and love,
No longer here...
Taken by the Lord up above.
Fibromyalgia flare-ups with no control,
However the weather seems to be the patrol.
The weather outside is too beautiful to miss,
My heart wishes both could be a sudden bliss.
We've got to learn to cherish the people and times in the moment,
Because it was Christ who suffered at the time of atonement.
In the midst of our suffering's we must be honest to God;
For if we're not, we are not honest to self.
We must shout out our pain to Him,
And not hide it upon a shelf.
God is big enough; he can handle it,
We can scream out and even throw a fit.
May our prayers lead us into action,
For God has a plan for us all;
There is no coincidence of attraction!

Fibryo pain go AWAY!

"Put Me In Check"

         So Long Self!!!

"Ok, Lord...thank you for putting me in check!" I am humbled through a short conversation with my friend on the phone, and through KSBJ on the radio. One of my favorite music groups "Mercy Me" was on the radio singing  Better Days. That was my first inspiration to turn my day around. Then, after the phone call I thought I'd share that song again with you all but, while in search...So Long Self spoke to me.

So, the picture painted by the Lord is now a "better day." When we take our eyes off ourselves and look at the world around us...The Lord will humble us. We must continue to be open and surrender. Even when it seems impossible, the impossible becomes possible.

Fit Devotion: "Life Saving Cup"

Our Lord offers Himself to us as a life-giving bread and a saving cup. He wants to live in our heart's and give us a new life. However, we must desire to share our lives with him. For through his life-giving bread and saving cup, the Lord-God strengthens our bodies and spirit.

Physical exercise is much like our spiritual activities; it can push us beyond our preconceived limitations. It is pure in its endeavor, just like our journey as a Christian. "You get what you put into it."  The great thing is God is always present...and when we have no strength or motivation for physical exercise, God has grace.
